Help Shape Bellows

Bellows™ is an iPhone workout log for lifting, running, riding and the rest of your training. We're looking for testers 18 and older in the United States to log real workouts and tell us what's broken or confusing.

What Bellows Is

Bellows keeps your lifting and your cardio in one log, so a week of squats, runs and rides reads as one week of training.

What Testers Get

What We Ask

How to Join with TestFlight

First time? Start here. TestFlight is Apple's free app for trying apps before they're in the App Store. You need an iPhone running iOS 16.4 or later.

  1. Install TestFlight. On your iPhone, open the App Store, search "TestFlight" and install Apple's TestFlight app (it's free, made by Apple).
  2. Open the invite link on your iPhone. Tap the Join button on this page, or open testflight.apple.com/join/jz4t2Y4y in Safari on the same iPhone. It won't work from a computer.
  3. Tap Accept in TestFlight to join the Bellows test.
  4. Tap Install. Bellows appears on your home screen like any other app. (If the test is full, TestFlight says so. Check back later, since spots open up.)
  5. Open Bellows and sign in with your email (we send you a sign-in code, no password) or with Sign in with Apple. By signing in or using Bellows, you agree to the Bellows Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, including the health and safety statements, so please give them a read.
  6. Apple Watch (optional). If your iPhone is paired with an Apple Watch on watchOS 11 or later, the Bellows watch app installs with it. If it doesn't appear, open the Watch app on your iPhone, find Bellows under Available Apps, and tap Install. Bellows asks first on its own Health Data screen (Allow or Not Now), then Apple asks for location and heart rate.

Good to Know

Your Health Data

Bellows can read and save workouts with Apple Health if you allow it, and it stores your workout history in your account. We treat that as health data.

Bellows is a training log, not medical advice. Check with a doctor before starting a new program, and stop if something hurts.

Beta Tester Terms (Short Version)

Bellows™ is a test version from Bellows Fitness LLC. By installing or using it, you agree to these terms and to the Bellows Terms of Use and Privacy Policy:

  1. It's a beta. It may have bugs, change, or stop working. Keep your own copy of anything important. Bellows is provided "as is" during testing.
  2. Your health comes first. Bellows is not medical advice. Check with a doctor before starting a new program, and stop if something hurts. You're 18 or older and in the United States.
  3. Your data. Your workouts belong to you and stay in your account after the beta unless you delete them. See the Privacy Policy and Health Data Policy for what we collect and how to delete it.
  4. Feedback. If you send ideas or feedback, Bellows Fitness LLC may use them freely to improve the app, with no payment or credit owed.
  5. Please keep unreleased features private. Share your experience, but please don't post copies, recordings or details of features marked as unreleased, and don't copy, reverse engineer or scrape the app.
  6. We can end the beta or your access at any time. Bellows, BELLOWS™ and the flame logo are trademarks of Bellows Fitness LLC.

FAQ

What does it cost?

Bellows is free for testers during the beta. We plan to offer paid features after launch, and we'll say clearly what's free and what isn't before anything changes.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. Bellows works on iPhone alone. If you have an Apple Watch on watchOS 11 or later (Series 6 or later, SE 2nd generation, or any Ultra), you can also start runs, walks, rides and lifts from your wrist.

Can I log lifting on the Apple Watch?

Yes. Pick Today's plan or one of your routines on the watch. Your iPhone sends them over when you open Bellows.

Does Android or Wear OS work?

Not yet. Bellows is iPhone and Apple Watch only for now.

Who can join?

Anyone 18 or older in the United States with an iPhone running iOS 16.4 or later. Spots are limited, so if the test is full, check back later.

Will I lose my workouts when the beta ends?

No. Your workouts stay in your account after the beta unless you delete them.

Can I bring my old workouts?

If you used StrengthLog, Strong or Hevy, you can import your history. More imports may come later.

Why does the test build expire?

Apple limits each TestFlight build to 90 days. New builds arrive before then, and TestFlight installs them for you.

Do I need to make a password?

No. Sign in with an emailed code or with Sign in with Apple.

Can my training partner join too?

Yes. They can join with the same link on their own iPhone, or you can log for both of you on one phone.

Is Bellows medical advice?

No. It's a training log. Check with a doctor before starting a new program.

How do I leave the test or delete my data?

Tap Stop Testing in TestFlight to leave. Tap You → Delete Account in the app, or email privacy@bellowsfitness.com, to remove your data.

Who makes Bellows?

Bellows Fitness LLC, a small Pennsylvania company. Questions go to contact@bellowsfitness.com.
